there’s something about film

just something about it

i’m completely infatuated with it

i don’t know if it because i’m a kid of the nineties and grew up around it

or the fact that i have a physical representation of a moment in time on my finger tips

the smell of old photos gathering dust as the years past

or just knowing that i can look back in twenty years and look at my younger self

i don’t know what it is

a story forever captured in time is pretty magical if you ask me

maybe that’s why i love it so much

there’s nothing else left like it

in our current digital reality

that just doesn’t feel as real

everything is so impersonal and disconnected

and just cold

it’s just isn’t the same

how is use to be

that feeling of familiarity and warmth

that film gives to you

that feeling

there’s something about film

​just something about it that will always have a place in my heart
